Value-added services include on-line retailer access toinventory; business-to-business capabilities; targeted retail sales training; and various consultative services in areas including warehousing, logistics, and operations.

Our business strategy has influenced our sales process. Traditionally, sales representatives would visit their clientele on numerous occasions, mainly to collect product orders. While individualized attention remains a service cornerstone, retailers also have requested the flexibility to proceed directly to order fulfillment on their schedule. As a result, FlorStar implemented an on-line system that allows retailers access to our inventory where they can view and reserve stock and even order product, all in real-time. Access is password protected to ensure that our retail partners' privacy and security are safeguarded. Multiple password access levels allow customers flexibility to offer varying degrees of access (e.g., authority to check stock, but not to see retailer cost).
